Residential Life

The Office of Residential Life provides a living, learning environment that promotes an academic and personal experience for our residents.

The First-Year residence halls are nestled on the Ravenhill campus. Fortess, Mott, Partridge and Ronson are safe, attractive, and comfortable facilities that contribute to students' academic success as they transition into new and exciting journey. For sophomore year and beyond, housing options include, Scholler Hall, a traditional residence hall, and well as Independence Plaza and Townhouses, which are apartment style living.

Living on campus is an integral part of the Jefferson experience. Recognizing that students spend a majority of their time outside of the classroom setting, the Office of Residential Life strives to create a group-living environment in which each student is afforded an opportunity to develop as an individual in an atmosphere that encourages emotional and intellectual growth. To help foster a living/learning environment, the University houses within each living area a professional staff member Resident Directors (RD's) and student (undergraduate and graduate) Resident Assistants (RA's) to provide leadership and guidance for its residents.

The East Falls Campus is conveniently located within a short train or bus ride away from the heart of Philadelphia as well as many restaurants, stores, transportation centers and other city landmarks. We look forward to having you on-campus!
