Information for Graduate Students

At Thomas Jefferson University, we are committed to making a high-quality, professional education affordable for every qualified student. If affording educational costs is a concern, we encourage you to apply for financial aid, regardless of family financial circumstances. Many of our graduate students receive financial aid in the form of loans, assistantships and/or scholarships.


The financial aid office staff will not be on campus during the Fall 2020 semester but we are still available to help you.

Zoom and Phone Appointments

You will be able to schedule face to face Zoom appointments or phone appointments with your financial aid counselor using the calendar here or by using  the link below

Document Drop Off

If you have forms that you need to give us, either send them to us by email to or drop them off at the Mail Room in the Kanbar Campus Center.

Please place your forms in the envelopes that will be at provided Mail Room table that say "Financial Aid Documents Only".

If you already have your own envelope, make sure it says Financial Aid on the front.

Place the envelope in the slot that says "University Mail" and it will be sent to us.



Applying for Aid for 2021-22

The 2021-22 FAFSA will be available on October 1, 2020

Priority FAFSA filing deadline for new undergraduate students for 2021-22 is December 15, 2020.

FAFSA filing deadline for 2021-22 is April 15, 2021.
