Philadelphia University has merged with Thomas Jefferson University on July 1, 2017. The name of the new university is Thomas Jefferson University, and the Philadelphia University campus will be referred to as Jefferson; East Falls Campus. Program location, leadership, faculty and curriculum have remained the same. All websites with the new name and logo will be operational by August 15, 2017 or sooner.
The Master of Architecture program is a first-professional graduate program designed to prepare students for professional architectural practice through the development of sustainable design and technology skills, knowledge of project management, and collaborative experiences in an interdisciplinary environment.
The M.Arch program offers multiple starting tracks. Your track will be individually decided based on your level of preparedness. The selection committee will consider your educational background, experience and portfolio. While each applicant is reviewed individually, these are the typical tracks:
The Master of Architecture is a 3+ year 99-credit degree program for students without advanced standing. Students granted advance standing may be able to complete the program in as little as two years with 48 credits minimum.
