ACES Lectures Bring Debate on Important Contemporary Issues Philadelphia University hosted the Academic and Community Engagement Sessions, a series of conversations about some of today’s most pressing issues, in February. The day-long series of lectures promoted interdisciplinary collaboration by demonstrating how important issues affect multiple professions and disciplines. The series featured guest speakers from the Recording Industry Association of America, Cato Institute, Royal Bank of Scotland, QVC and other organizations. Evan Laine, director of PhilaU’s Law and Society program, oversaw the lectures.
