PhilaU Launches Innovative New Graduate Programs Strategic Design MBA Making Waves in Higher Education PhilaU’s new Strategic Design MBA program has been turning heads ever since it enrolled its January 2013 inaugural class. With its second cohort ready to begin in the fall, the program has already been featured alongside Stanford and Johns Hopkins in the Wall Street Journal, Inc.com and Inside Higher Ed. The program combines the best traditional business school education with design thinking to create hybrid thinkers—high-potential individuals who have the skills to lead in their organizations. First-of-its-kind M.S. in GeoDesign The first full-degree program in the U.S. dedicated to the emerging and increasingly important field of geodesign, Philadelphia University’s M.S. in GeoDesign will help students develop a strong set of skills to use in planning and designing sustainably built and natural environments. PhilaU Offers Inaugural M.S. in Community and Trauma Counseling At a critical time in our nation’s history, Philadelphia University is among the first to offer a program designed to meet the growing demand for professionals prepared to provide trauma counseling to individuals and communities influenced by extreme stress and catastrophic incidents.
