Landscape Architecture Program Director Elected Council of Educators Fellow Claudia Phillips, associate professor and director of the landscape architecture pro- gram, was elected Fellow of the Council of Educators in Landscape Architecture. The designation recognizes Phillips’ lifetime accomplishments in teaching, scholarship, creative activity and service. She also was awarded a Landscape Architecture Foundation Research Fellowship to participate in the Case Study Investigation 2012 Research program, and she presented a paper in October at the North American Cartographic Information Society about “Designing a GeoDesign Curriculum for an Urban University.” 79
