Successful Alumni Paying It Forward With Current Students Throughout the academic year, many alumni who are prominent in their fields pay it forward by visiting campus to speak with and advise current students. This past year, PhilaU welcomed back many alumni, including textile management and marketing alumnus Allen Sirkin ‘64, president and COO of PVH Corp.; fashion design graduates Shannan Carlino ’08, on-field designer for Under Armour, and Gianna Cosentino ’02 (pictured), who designs her own line, New Romantics, for Free People, a division of Urban Outfitters; and industrial design alumnus Todd Bergman ’02, a product designer for Armstrong World Industries, Inc., who participated in the first annual sprint project while a student at PhilaU and came back this year to help run this year’s sprint project sponsored by Armstrong.
