Professor Kihong Ku Receives Grant to Help Curb Construction Accidents Kihong Ku, Ph.D., assistant professor of architecture, received a research grant for $141,875 from the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) to study how architects and construction professionals can collaborate during the design process to help reduce accidents and injuries during the on-site construction phase.
