Physician Assistant Studies Students Garner National Awards and Honors PhilaU’s physician assistant studies program, already ranked among the top programs in the nation, continued to receive kudos this year. PA students Alexandra Vuolo, Yesha Shah and Jessica Day were runners up in the National Medical Challenge Bowl at the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) annual meeting last summer. At the conference, Stephanie Gurevich ‘12 was elected northeast regional director of AAPA’s student academy. 37
