PhilaU Students, Nexus Learning and Global Immersion Beyond traditional study abroad programs around the globe, PhilaU students are participating in Nexus Learning opportunities through intensive, multidisciplinary short courses in Europe, South America and Asia. Fashion and textile students head to Paris where they are completely immersed in French culture, fashion and luxury markets. Students across all three Colleges study Contemporary Europe in living classrooms in cities like Munich, Salzburg, Linz, Berlin and Barcelona. In the spring, students head to Shanghai, Shenzen and Hong Kong in China to focus on international product manu- facturing, or travel to Buenos Aires, Argentina to examine its architecture and culture, particularly urban design, history and development of the city.
