PhilaU Recognizes Distinguished Teachers Philadelphia University honored members of its faculty for their academic excellence, including Katherine Jones, Ph.D., associate professor of sociology, and Harvey Lermack, assistant professor of management, at the Annual Faculty Recognition dinner on May 11, 2012. Katherine Jones, who received the President’s Award for Excellence from President Spinelli, was recognized for her dedication and commitment to educating her students. In her area studies and sociology courses, she inspires her students to learn on a deep level. Harvey Lermack received the Lindback Distinguished Teaching Award acknowledg- ing his outstanding service to the University and his students. 15
