The University is happy to work with students with disabilities and committed to providing students with access to all educational opportunities and full participation in programs and services.

Student Accessibility Services works with students with disabilities through a collaboartive process to identify accommodations that will allow equal access. The Unviersity fully complies with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act (Section 504) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Any currently admitted or enrolled student may request accommodations (although accommodations are not retroactive). Qualified persons may not, based on disability, be denied participation in University programs and activities. The University will work with students to [rovide reasonable accommodations, generally meaning an accomodation is based on documented individual needs, does not compromise the essential requirements of a course or program, does not pose a threat to personal or public safety, does not impose undue financial or administrative burden to the University, and is not of a personal nature.

Please note, accommodations meant to provide access and accommodations that fundamentally alter the academic standards of specific courses are not offered.
