Accelerated Bachelor's Degree Completion
In the Accelerated Bachelor of Science Degree Completion Program leadership in homeland security major, you will gain necessary foundational knowledge and skills in the fields of homeland defense and security, disaster recovery and policies for disaster response and management.
Our real-world curriculum will prepare you for homeland security positions with state, federal or local governments and security management careers in companies and non-profit organizations. As a graduate of this program, you will be prepared to apply for graduate studies in Jefferson’s Master of Science degree in Disaster Medicine and Management.
Get the Credit Your Deserve: To be admitted, you must have a minimum of 30 transferable credits. You can transfer up to 72 credits.

To earn a Bachelor of Science degree, you must complete a minimum of 120 credits. These credits are acquired through transfer of credits from previously attended accredited colleges, universities and institutes, and through courses taken at Jefferson. Specific course requirements are listed below. Remaining credits are satisfied with elective courses.
General Requirements: College-level courses in writing, math, science, history, social science, humanities, and information systems are required for a Bachelor of Science degree.
General Education Core: 15 credits
Continuing Professional Studies Core: 18 credits
